Wednesday Event
The Wednesday evening event of Eurocrypt 2013 will take place at the Acropolis museum. It will include food, drink and a private tour of the museum.
You can either get there by bus (option 1 below) or by yourselves (option 2).
Important: you have to bring your conference badge to enter the museum.
Option 1 (departure with buses):
7:00 pm Assembly in Caravel Hotel Lobby and departure with buses.
Delegates will be accompanied by conference helpers. The buses will arrive at Chatzichristou St. and
you will enter the museum through the side entrance (5' walking)
Option 2 (arrive at the museum on your own):
7:30 pm Assembly in front of the main entrance of the museum. Conference helpers will be waiting there to assist you.
The easiest way to get to the museum is by metro. You can take metro line 2 to the Akropoli station. It is a short walk to the main entrance (see the map below).
Evening plan:
8:00 - 9:00 pm Guided tour of the museum.
9:00 - 11:30pm Standing cocktail (food and drinks will be served) at the museum terrace. A jazz quartet will perform during dinner.
11:30pm Buses will depart for the conference hotel.
