Conference fees
The participation fee is set to US$ 605, with an early registration discount of US$ 75 for registrations before March 31, 2000. The conference fee includes admittance to the conference sessions, a copy of the proceedings, refreshments, lunches (Mon-Thu), the conference dinner, conference social programme and IACR membership.

The accompanying persons programme fee (US$ 375, US$ 300 for early registrations) includes the above without admittance to the conference sessions, without a copy of the proceedings and without IACR membership.

The conference social programme consists of a reception on Sunday, a boat tour on the "Brugse Reien" and the rump session with a degustation of Belgian beer and cheese on Tuesday, and the conference dinner on Wednesday evening.

Student discounts & stipends
Students registering to the conference need to provide verification of their student status with a letter from their Supervisor or Department Chair and a photocopy of their Student ID card.

A limited number of stipends are available to students and to authors of accepted papers unable to obtain sufficient funding. Preference will be given to those who are presenting papers at the conference.

Extra social programme

Hotel accommodation
Hotel accommodation has been reserved in the hotels listed on the registration form. These reservations expire March 15, 2000. More details about location and comfort, together with cancellation policies for hotels are included in the hotel list. Prices include breakfast, VAT and city tax. All hotels are within walking distance of the conference centre.

For your convenience, the IACR General Secretariat will centralize the registration forms and forward them to the local accommodation co-ordinator, Momentum (Mrs. Anne De Smet).

Confirmation
You will be sent a separate confirmation for the conference and the hotel booking. Primary method of contact will be email for hotel reservations and fax for conference registration. Please provide a valid fax and email address.

Cancellations
Please note the difference in policy between conference and hotel bookings cancellation.

The hotel cancellation policy is different per hotel. It should be noted that Bruges is a popular tourist destination, therefore hotel cancellation policy is stricter than US policy. This is especially true for *** and **** hotels. For hotel cancellation without conference cancellation, Momentum should be contacted.

Conference cancellation should be done by writing to the IACR General Secretariat. Your hotel booking will be cancelled as well, unless you state otherwise. Before 15 / 04 / 2000, only a handling fee and the applicable hotel cancellation fee will be charged. Afterwards, the full conference registration + the applicable hotel cancellation fee will be charged.

Method of payment
Visa, EuroCard/MasterCard and American Express credit card payments are accepted. Other credit cards or bank transfers are not accepted. Submit the appropriate credit card details and place your signature. Please make sure the credit card is valid.

Registration
Will start Sunday, 14 / 05 / 2000 at the conference centre Oud Sint-Jan, 17:00.
