Excursion

On Sunday May 26th there will be an optional excursion to Nafplio, a beautiful town in Peloponnese. In Nafplio you will be accompanied by conference helpers and will have the option to either visit the Palamidi Castle or spend the day in the beach. There will be a bus departing from Caravel hotel lobby to Nafplio at 8:30am and will get back to the hotel for the welcome reception by 6:30pm (the reception starts at 7:30pm).

For the excursion you will have two options : the "Beach schedule" and the "Castle schedule":

8:30 am Assembly in Caravel Hotel Lobby and departure with buses. Excursion participants will be accompanied by conference helpers during the day. Each participant will be provided with information material for the activities of the excursion.

Beach Schedule:

11:30 Arrival in Karathonas beach bar. In the beach bar you will have basic amenities like changing rooms, bathroom, showers. You can order drinks and relax in recliner chairs.

13:45 Assembly and departure for Nafplio old town.

14:15 Arrival in Nafplio for free afternoon schedule / lunch in suggested taverns and restaurants.

16:30 Assembly and departure for Athens.

Castle schedule:

11:30 Arrival in Nafplio and tour of the beautiful old town.

12:30 Free afternoon schedule / lunch in suggested taverns and restaurants.

14:45 Assembly and departure for Palamidi castle.

15:15 Arrival in Palamidi castle. The castle offers spectacularly scenic views of the Aegean sea and an interesting history spanning over 3 centuries. A toured guide will be arranged for our group.

16:30 Assembly and departure for Athens.
