Florida Atlantic University (Boca Raton campus, Florida, USA)
The project is funded by the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF), and has a duration of 3 years. The grant includes a collaboration with Prof. Shay Gueron at University of Haifa (Israel), funded by the Binational Science Foundation (BSF). The main place of performance will be the U.S. institution, Florida Atlantic University. However, the postdoc is expected to interface with both the main investigators and work on all the aspects of the project. In particular, we are looking for a candidate who will be able to bridge the expertise areas between the two researchers, Prof. Persichetti (theory) and Prof. Gueron (implementation). Thus, the ideal candidate should have a strong background in coding theory (possibly code-based cryptography), as well as some knowledge of implementation and software.
We offer a very competitive salary, inclusive of benefits, and travel expenses for the full duration of the project. The postdoc will also be able to benefit from working within the Cryptography group at FAU, and interact with the other group members. The starting date should be after the summer, but no later than October 1st, 2019. If interested, please send a complete CV and the names of 3 references to Edoardo Persichetti: epersichetti (at) fau.edu
