Internship on Homomorphic Encryption Accelerators

UAlbany is seeking a highly motivated 3-6 month intern to assist in a project on building accelerators for homomorphic encryption. Strong background in classical cryptography, modular arithmetic, and number theory is required. Students with prior experience with Verilog hardware description language (HDL) and Cadence electronic design automation (EDA) tools for application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) design are preferred.
Research internships will be available year-round, beginning in the Fall of 2023, and visa sponsorship will be provided for international applicants. The starting date for the position is flexible and comes with a competitive salary.
