Registration

The on-line registration site has been closed. If you would like to make a registration, please send an e-mail to the General Chair (pkc2013-gc@ohta-lab.jp).

Registration is done via the IACR registration form. To use the form you will need your IACR reference number and password. If you do not have this information (e.g., if this is your first IACR conference), you can have the information mailed to you as explained at the registration site.

The early registration fee for PKC 2013 is 500 USD (250 USD for students). To this should be added the IACR membership dues, unless you have already attended a previous IACR conference earlier this year. If you register after Jan. 26 there is a late registration surcharge of 100 USD.

Attendee who cannot use a creditcard can pay the conference fee by wire transfer in JPY. PKC 2013 uses a currency exchange rate of 1$=85JPY. Please ask the general chair (pkc2013-gc AT ohta-lab.jp) for more information.

Cancellation requests received by Feb. 5, 2013 are entitled to a refund less 300 USD to cover the fixed costs for the conference. No refunds will be issued after the cancellation deadline but a copy of proceedings (either digital or printed depending on the registration) will be sent to those registered but unable to attend.

PKC 2013 registration fee includes proceedings (a USB memory), coffee break, a conference bag, and other materials. Sponsorship covers lunches and social events for conference participants, but accompanying guests.

Support for Students

The deadline for stipend application has passed.

Thanks to the generous contribution of financial sponsors, we are able to help with travel expenses of student authors. In addition, we may be able to provide stipends to some students and young researchers who would otherwise find it hard to attend the conference. To apply, please ask your PhD supervisor or Department Head to email a brief justification to the General Chair (pkc2013-gc AT ohta-lab.jp) by Jan. 19, 2013.

Visas

If you need an invitation letter to obtain a visa please send an email to pkc2013-gc AT ohta-lab.jp including the following information: full name as written in the passport, passport number, issued by, date of issue, date of birth, place of birth, your full affiliation and contact details.

Participants who have requested an official invitation letter with the conference chair's signature to obtain a visa should also have their request endorsed by the management of their sponsoring organization (signed by an appropriate representative of their laboratory, institute, or university) on official letterhead, and should include passport information.

The request should be sent by e-mail with the scanned documents attached to the general chair (pkc2013-gc AT ohta-lab.jp). Those who plan to attend with a family member need to provide the organizers with the complete information for each guest. Advanced payment of the conference fee is also required for the invitation letter.
