Migration and visas

PLEASE CHECK IF YOU HAVE VISA REQUIREMENTS FOR TRAVELING TO ARGENTINA. It is advised to start this process early as it may take significant time for some nationalities (e.g., China). Some general information can be found here and in the official page. In particular, note the reciprocity fee that those traveling with US, Canada and Australia passports need to pay, before arriving to Argentina. Airports and getting into town

Buenos Aires is served by two main airports, Ezeiza (EZE) and "Aeroparque Jorge Newbery" (AEP), with most international flights arriving in the former. EZE is located about 35 kilometers away from downtown and the trip takes under an hour--depending on traffic.

There are a number of transportation options from EZE to downtown, including taxi, limo ("remis") and shared-ride shuttle services, some of which are listed here. The cost of a car service to downtown Buenos Aires is about USD50.00, while a shared-ride bus costs about USD10.00. Several transportation-service stands are located right after customs, and before entering the arrivals hall. Here are a couple of concrete options:
