IACR members are encouraged to participate in a demo election as part of the debate about changing the IACR election system to electronic voting.
2009 IACR Fellows Announced
Moti Yung to hold 2010 IACR Distinguished Lecture .
The Journal of Cryptology will have a Special Issue on Hardware and Security. The Call for Papers is available. Submission date is September 1, 2009.
The US Department of Homeland Security has implementated the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) . ESTA is a new fully automated, electronic system for screening passengers before they begin travel to the United States under the Visa Waiver Program . ESTA applications may be submitted at any time prior to travel to the United States, and VWP travelers are encouraged to apply for authorization as soon as they begin to plan a trip to the United States. ESTA has become mandatory for all travelers from current Visa Waiver Program member countries. Frequently asked questions available here .
The 2008 IACR Election is complete. The Bylaws change to explore electronic voting passed and Stuart Haber, Antoine Joux, and Josh Benaloh were elected to the position of Director for the term Jan. 1, 2009 through Dec.31, 2011. More details here .
Elections are open and you should be receiving your ballots. The ballots need to be received by December 15th. More information here .

2007 Elections: Results (December 18, 2007)
Due to postal interruption in the UK, the 2007 election ballot return dates have extended. All ballots postmarked no later than 30 November and received no later than 7 December will be counted in the election. Results of the election will be posted before December 20, 2007. (November 11, 2007)
The 2007 election ballot as been set. Please watch your mail and return your completed ballot before November 15th.
Registration for Asiacrypt 2007 is open (August 29, 2007)
The 2007 election is being held to fill seven positions: four officers and three Directors. Members should expect their ballots to arrive by October 31, and plan to return their ballots by December 1st. (August 12, 2007)
