TCC 2014: Travel Info

The nearest airport is San Diego International Airport (SAN), and it is served by all major north american airlines and well as several international ones. The conference site (UCSD/Estancia) is about 20 minutes drive from the airport, and it is most conveniently reached by car/taxi.

Directions and Parking information

If you are staying at the Estancia, we recommend that you walk to the sessions in the CalIT2 auditorium (Atkinson Hall). See walking directions.

For anyone wishing to drive, parking is available in the Hopkins and Gilman parking structures, where you can purchase a permit at the machines. This campus parking map shows the locations of parking lots and structures. The conference sessions are in Atkinson hall, building 603, for reference on the map. The CSE department is building 602. The Hopkins parking structure is approximately half way between the Estancia and Atkinson Hall.

The Estancia provides valet parking at the discounted daily rate of $10 to all TCC participants attending the Sunday reception and Tuesday rump session.
