The number of participants registered for CHES 2009 has currently reached the full capacity of the workshop venue: 300 attendees. As a result, the on-line registration has been closed, and no on-site registration is expected to be available. In order to be placed on the waiting list for this event, please send an e-mail to the General Chair Marcelo Kaihara. Your requests will be considered in the order they are received. Please also consider attending other co-located workshops listed here.
The on-line registration is done via the IACR registration form. If you have never attended an IACR conference before, follow the instructions as a new member.
The early registration fee for CHES 2009 is US$ 608 (US$ 304 for students). If you have attended previous IACR conference or workshop this year, the registration fee is US$ 520 (US$ 260 for students).
The deadline for early registration is August 6th, 2009. The late registration surcharge is US$ 100.

The conference registration fee includes participation in the technical program and all social events (a dinner cruise on lake Geneva and the rump session at the casino Montbenon), as well as a copy of the conference proceedings, 2010 membership in the IACR, and a subscription to the Journal of Cryptology.
Accompanying guests can also be registered for participation in the conference social events (the dinner cruise and the rump session).
Credit card is the preferred payment method. The on-line registration page has a built-in credit card payment feature.
Confirmation of conference registration will be emailed to you. Please provide a correct email address upon registration. Receipts will be provided by IACR on site.
Cancellation requests should be made in writing or email to the general chair. Those received by Aug. 23rd, 2009 will receive a full refund less US$ 160 to cover a IACR membership fee, a copy of the proceedings and fixed costs for the conference. No refunds will be made for cancellations after this date (a copy of the proceedings will be mailed to those registered but unable to attend).
There are limited number of stipends available to students. Preference will be given to those students who are presenting papers at the conference. To apply for a stipend, please have your advisor or department chair send a brief justification to the general chair by July 24th.
Due to the high season, it is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED to book your hotel AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. A choice of hotels, where special arrangements have been made for the CHES 2009 workshop can be found here.
