General Information
Fast Software Encryption is a seven-year-old workshop on symmetric cryptography, including the design and
cryptanalysis of block and stream ciphers, as well as hash functions. The first Fast Software Encryption Workshop was held in Cambridge
in 1993, followed by Leuven in 1994, Cambridge in 1996, Haifa in 1997, Paris in 1998, Rome in 1999, and New York in 2000.
The eighth Fast Software Encryption Workshop, FSE2001, will be held from 2-4 April
2001 in Yokohama, Japan, in cooperation with
Institute of Industrial Science, the University of Tokyo.
