FSE 2023 will take place in Beijing, China and Kobe, Japan simultaneously, on March 20-24 2023.

This year, three FSE test-of-time awards will be given for papers published at FSE 2006, FSE 2007 and FSE 2008.

Nominations for these awards should be sent to the chair of the FSE steering committee by February 20 2023.

As a consequence of the COVID-19 crisis, the Greek Health ministry took on March 8 the decision to suspend all conference events for the next four weeks (the announcement in Greek can be found here.).

Under these force majeure circumstances, FSE 2020 is postponed.

Since last year, FSE has moved to a new open-access journal/conference hybrid model. Submitted articles undergo a journal-style reviewing process. Accepted papers are published in Gold Open Access (free availability from day one) by the Ruhr University of Bochum in an issue of the newly established journal IACR Transactions on Symmetric Cryptology.

The next deadline (ToSC 2017, issue 3) is June 1, 2017.
