IACR Board of Directors

In attempting to document the list of people who have served on the board of IACR, I had to reconstruct the history of IACR. Legal membership on the board has been subject to the bylaws of the organization, which have changed several times. For example, general chairs of Eurocrypt and Crypto were not originally members of the board, but had become board members by at least 1990 (all are listed here). This list should not be interpreted as a statement of who was actually a board member, but rather who fulfilled a given role.

The information is unfortunately incomplete (many director roles are missing). It has been collected from a variety of sources, including the website, newsletters, bylaws, articles of incorporation, and tax documents.
